Ground Systems Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for ground systems design artifacts, including requirements, architecture, and verification procedures
• Partner with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements
• Analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware/software designs, and interface specifications
• Support lab and verification testing to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
• Analyze test results and troubleshoot problems in simulated and unsimulated testing environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of design elements

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
• Level 3: 5+ years of work-related experience (or 3+ years with a Master's degree)
• Level 4: 9+ years of work-related experience (or 7+ years with a Master's/4+ years with a PhD)
• Experience developing or integrating avionics or ground systems
• Experience in requirements development, design and modeling, or SIL/HIL test planning and execution
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of MBSE principles and tools such as Cameo/MSOSA or SysML
• Experience working in a closed area
