Ground Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes (6.5 to 50 tons) to receive and deliver major aircraft components across various hangars and assembly lines
• Perform aircraft towing using heavy tugs to support pre-final operational testing and hangar movements
• Manage logistics and site services, including unloading shipping containers with forklifts and using man lifts or scissor lifts
• Coordinate the reallocation of aircraft materials and the return of sea transport jigs
• Maintain accurate documentation of work-in-progress using daily job cards and SAP
• Conduct daily pre-operational inspections of ground support equipment (GSE)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating overhead cranes
• Experience in aviation ramp operations
• Experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts, man lifts)
• Proficiency with SAP

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in aviation ramp operations
• 3+ years of experience working with overhead cranes
• 3+ years of experience working with heavy equipment
