Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and position Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and vehicles within the Technical Operations environment.
• Ensure all GSE and vehicles are in serviceable condition through daily and weekly checks.
• Perform maintenance and repairs in compliance with manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
• Manage service order creation, post-maintenance inspections, and follow-up on repair quotes and LPOs.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory list of all GSE and manage airport passes and vehicle permits.
• Ensure aircraft bays and GSE areas are clear of Foreign Object Damage (FOD) hazards.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and airport regulations, including the consistent use of required PPE.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of aviation experience, including at least 2 years in GSE or Aircraft Maintenance.
• Valid UAE driving license held for at least 2 years (light or heavy vehicles).
• Valid IPAF training certificate or license.
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work nights and weekends and perform effectively under stress.
• Trained in safety procedures regarding the handling of fuel, oil, oxygen, or nitrogen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong background in using AMOS.
• High school leaving certificate or Diploma with a background in aircraft engineering studies.
• Minimum of 2 years of airline or MRO experience.
