Ground Station Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support technical architecture of ground station systems including antennas, RF chains, modems, and networking equipment
• Define technical requirements for hardware, network interfaces, telemetry, and operational handoff
• Support site selection, installation planning, and equipment configuration with external partners
• Define acceptance criteria and test plans for new or upgraded ground stations
• Diagnose performance issues involving RF systems, antennas, networks, and servers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Computer, Systems, or Telecommunications Engineering
• Experience with satellite ground systems, SATCOM, teleport operations, or RF systems
• Working knowledge of antennas, modems, servers, and networking equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing or operating satellite ground stations or GSaaS capabilities
• Familiarity with antenna siting, link performance analysis, or RF interference
• Ability to use scripting, Linux tools, or automation for troubleshooting
