Ground Software Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain ground procedures, configurations, and automation software tailored to specific missions
• Design and implement custom features within Cockpit to support physical and virtual mission customers
• Collaborate with Solutions and Product teams to ensure smooth software integration and product improvement
• Troubleshoot software integration issues during development, testing, commissioning, and live operations
• Participate actively in satellite operations and spacecraft commissioning

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Software Engineer or in Satellite Operations Automation roles
• Proficiency with Python and Git
• Experience using Docker
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate technical issues and solutions effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with software integration and making complex systems work together
• Experience in or close to Satellite Operations
• Knowledge of satellite scheduling concepts or flight dynamics
• Experience with Django, GitLab CI/CD, and automated testing
