Ground Operations Controller

Responsibilities

• Arrange and deliver ground operations training to Etihad and third-party service provider personnel, covering manual load control, load control systems, and freight applications.
• Develop and maintain below-wing training content in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate training records for all below-wing training delivered by Etihad Ground Operations.
• Provide remote and on-site oversight for station startups and ground handling agent changes to ensure safe and compliant aircraft handling.
• Assess, report, and escalate non-compliance regarding load control, ground operations, and training.
• Support cross-functional efficiency by performing Business Solutions Specialist - Load Control Systems functions when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 5 years of airline and/or Ground Handling Agent (GHA) experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in load control or related ground operations scopes.
• Demonstrable knowledge of load control and aircraft type characteristics.
• Experience in load control and/or dangerous goods training.
• High standard of verbal and written English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
