About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with routine maintenance and basic repairs on heavy equipment and plant machinery
- Perform general labor duties including cleanup, shoveling, and site housekeeping
- Support equipment operators and maintenance personnel as needed
- Conduct inspections and report wear, damage, or safety concerns
- Assist with fueling, greasing, and servicing equipment
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all site safety policies and MSHA regulations
- Work in and around active mining equipment safely and efficiently
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude or prior maintenance experience
- Experience in mining, quarry, construction, or industrial environments
- Valid driver’s license
- MSHA certification preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
