Grooming Salon Leader

Responsibilities

• Perform professional pet grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals by inspecting for parasites, disease, or injury
• Maintain and sanitize all grooming tools and equipment to prevent the spread of disease
• Interact with customers to provide professional advice on products and services
• Manage salon operations such as scheduling appointments, verifying vaccinations, and maintaining client records
• Support selling initiatives by engaging with customers and pets to create memorable experiences

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Level 1 Paragon Training certification through Petsense
• Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
• Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion for animals
• Ability to provide your own grooming tools (clippers, blades, shears) or willingness to purchase them
• Physical ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift/move animals weighing up to 50 pounds
