gRNA Process Development Scientist

Responsibilities

• Execute solid-phase synthesis and purification experiments to support process development, scale-up, and transfer of oligonucleotide drug substance manufacturing
• Perform routine analytics including HPLC and UV-Vis
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and stock solutions following established recipes and SOPs
• Compile and present technical data to team members and key stakeholders
• Maintain updated lab notebooks, order materials, and support equipment troubleshooting
• Uphold high standards of laboratory safety and protocols

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, or a related field
• At least 2 years of relevant laboratory industry experience
• Experience with oligonucleotide synthesis and purification equipment
• Proficiency operating analytical equipment such as Akta chromatography systems, Agilent U/HPLC, gel electrophoresis, and NanoDrop
• Experience with good documentation practices and electronic lab notebooks (e.g., Benchling)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow SOPs

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in CRISPR gRNA development
• Experience with gRNA or longmer synthesis and purification development
