Grinder/Polisher

Responsibilities

• Grind sprues and polish jewelry pieces according to specifications
• Clean castings, solder, and polish with a focus on casting clean-up
• Assemble customized pieces using hand tools and basic assembly techniques
• File fine jewelry, straighten parts, and prepare for polishing
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure adherence to specifications
• Restore or adjust jewelry for size, customization, or repair
• Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area following safety protocols

Requirements

• Experience in jewelry production, specifically grinding, polishing, and assembly
• Experience with grinding and polishing tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workloads and repetitive tasks
• High attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Strong manual dexterity and close visual attention
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with silversmithing, goldsmithing, engraving, wax carving, casting, and soldering
