Grinder Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain grinding area equipment to ensure efficient and safe processing of scrap conduit
• Monitor product and equipment parameters to meet quality requirements
• Conduct minor repairs and report major problems to production leadership
• Accurately document ground product dimensions and track weights
• Coordinate tooling changes and assist with scrap material separation
• Perform cleanup in the grinding area, including waste disposal
• Maintain a safe, neat, and orderly workspace while following all safety protocols

Requirements

• Reliable and punctual team player with consistent attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Ability to stand in a stationary position 80-100% of the time
• Ability to squat, bend, or stoop as much as 25% of the time
• Ability to work in a plant environment with heat, dust, and noise
• Commitment to wearing required PPE, including gloves, eye protection, and steel-toe boots

• Competitive starting wage of $19.00 per hour
• Sign-on bonus: $500 after 90 days and $1,000 after 180 days
