Grind Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and machine point grinding of Cannula
• Operate electrolytic grinding and electrical discharge machine equipment
• Complete quality inspections in a timely and accurate manner and record results
• Perform minor equipment set-ups, repairs, and service to maintain continuous operations
• Assist with major equipment changeovers and repairs
• Maintain accurate production records, including waste, quality, and labor data
• Monitor and maintain equipment performance and grinding systems
• Inspect and remove defective products to maintain quality standards
• Load and unload Cannula, Stylets, and Blades from grinders as required

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Two years of manufacturing experience required in lieu of a High School diploma/GED
• Experience with quality inspection and maintaining production standards
• Ability to perform equipment maintenance and minor repairs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience in a similar production environment
• Proficiency in working both independently and within a team atmosphere
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
