Grille Cashier/Expo

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and beverage orders quickly and accurately while processing payments
• Assist kitchen staff in organizing and packaging orders according to guest tickets
• Ensure food items meet quality standards for taste, presentation, and freshness
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the dining area, including restocking and wiping tables
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation practices
• Work closely with fellow employees to ensure smooth operation during service

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled as a student at Middlebury College
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Completion of SERVsafe training and passing a 40-question test within 14 days of hiring
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
• Physically able to lift 10-15 pounds frequently and up to 45 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent bending and overhead reaching
