Responsibilities

• Monitor the performance of substation and feeder SCADA devices and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Operate devices to resolve problems or support field activities and issue maintenance requests.
• Dispatch and write switching orders to support construction and maintenance activities.
• Monitor system performance during peak or abnormal periods to identify potential overloads.
• Commission new and replacement SCADA devices and assist in the installation and programming of process system equipment.
• Diagnose software, hardware, and communications problems across multiple networks and protocols.
• Ensure new SCADA devices are correctly modeled and effectively utilized by field engineering.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Distribution Control Center experience.
• Field experience related to controls or relays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
