Grid Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced power system studies including load flow, short-circuit, stability, harmonic, and EMT analysis
• Ensure grid code compliance and support grid integration for WTG and PPC systems
• Develop, benchmark, and validate simulation models for onshore and offshore systems
• Use industry-standard tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS®E, PSCAD, and MATLAB/Simulink for simulations
• Automate simulation and reporting processes using Python, C, or C++ and contribute to CI/CD workflows
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and customer deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional global engineering teams to integrate study outcomes into design and project execution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering or a related field
• Experience in grid studies and grid compliance for renewable energy projects
• Hands-on experience with DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS®E, PSCAD/EMTDC, and MATLAB/Simulink
• Proficiency in Load Flow, Short Circuit, Dynamic Stability, Harmonic, Frequency Domain, and EMT/Transient studies
• Programming and automation experience using Python, C, or C++
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and GitHub-based workflows for engineering tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on offshore wind or large-scale renewable integration projects
• Familiarity with grid code requirements across different global regions
• Exposure to New Product Development (NPD) programs
