Green Building Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage residential green building certification projects from kickoff through final approval
• Coordinate certification programs including FGBC, ENERGY STAR for New Homes, Florida Water Star, NGBS, and LEED Residential
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation for program compliance
• Serve as the primary liaison between builders, clients, project managers, and certification agencies
• Collect, organize, and submit certification documentation such as photos, product specs, and testing reports
• Track project milestones, certification deadlines, and inspection schedules
• Coordinate with field inspectors, energy raters, and third-party reviewers
• Maintain organized project records using Google Drive, spreadsheets, and CRMs
• Input and organize project information into EnergyGauge and other industry software platforms

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or a related field
• Experience in residential construction, green building, or energy efficiency
• Knowledge of FGBC, LEED, NGBS, or ENERGY STAR programs
• LEED Green Associate, FGBC Certification, or NGBS Verifier credentials
