About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate a Pixie Drone remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to skim the water surface for marine debris in local harbors
- Collect, weigh, count, and categorize marine debris
- Report findings as part of a regional environmental cleanup effort
Requirements
- Timely and dependable work ethic
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods in an outdoor environment
Preferred Qualifications
- BS in environmental science or a related field
