About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate power material handling equipment to accurately select and palletize loads
- Load and unload trucks from ground level or platforms
- Organize stock and maintain warehouse organization
- Package merchandise for shipment and ensure correct labeling on all pallets
- Stock incoming orders onto shelves and assist with annual inventories
- Use computer equipment to generate necessary labels
Requirements
- Proven experience in material handling and warehouse environments
- Experience operating forklifts and other heavy machinery
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Capability to stand continuously and perform tasks involving pushing or pulling heavy loads
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
