Graphic Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality, on-brand creative for print and digital platforms including publications, social media, email, web, and advertising
• Collaborate with campus partners to develop creative solutions that meet strategic enrollment and advancement goals
• Maintain and evolve the Cedar Crest visual identity across all touchpoints
• Manage projects from concept through final production, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Prepare files for print and digital distribution with strong attention to detail
• Contribute to photo and video shoots, including creative direction and light editing
• Maintain and organize digital assets and design files
• Manage multiple contractors, vendors, and projects for various college departments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Media, or a related field
• 2-4 years of professional design experience (agency, in-house, or freelance)
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Demonstrated ability to execute cohesive visual systems and campaigns
• Strong typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills
• A portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and polished execution
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work on occasional nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing integrated marketing campaigns
• Familiarity with Adobe Lightroom and Premiere Pro
• Motion graphics or video editing experience
• Photography experience
• Experience in higher education, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations
