Graphic Designer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary designer on campus for digital and print design collateral
• Design static, animated, and interactive graphic content for digital marketing, the College website, and social media
• Create email marketing campaigns, direct mail pieces, brochures, posters, flyers, and advertisements for recruitment and fundraising
• Act as the primary steward of the College's brand, maintaining and updating brand standards to ensure consistency
• Manage the licensing process of the College's logo and graphic identity through the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC)
• Serve as the primary liaison with print and design vendors, managing contracts and production cycles
• Create standardized design templates for use by employees across the College
• Supervise student staff and provide creative oversight to external design vendors

Requirements

• Proficiency in Mac OS
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• A portfolio showcasing 8-12 creative design projects
• Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to design with exceptional accuracy
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight, competing deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising, or a related field
• 1-3 years of professional graphic design experience
• Professional experience in a higher education setting
• Skills in photography and videography
• Experience working with diverse and underrepresented populations
