About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the principal department liaison between the research support team and Pediatric Principal Investigators to coordinate budgeting and grant application processes.
- Provide program management support for Principal Investigators, including assistance with grant application preparation and the recruitment of budgeted staff.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all grant-related materials, applications, and documentation.
- Act as a resource for developing grant applications, including proposal preparation, proofreading, and editing.
- Assist with the compilation, tracking, and filing of budgets, agreements, contracts, and sub-contracts.
- Maintain the integrity and quality control of departmental databases, websites, and grant materials.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in a related field.
- 3 years of experience in grant writing and/or program development, preferably in an academic or healthcare setting.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with web design.
- Technical grant writing experience.
