About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of clinical trial revenue, focusing on invoicing "Pure Research" items identified in Medicare Coverage Analysis (MCA).
  • Review Clinical Trial Contract agreements using the RAPSS system and interpret complex budget language.
  • Generate and distribute accurate, timely invoices to clinical trial sponsors via OnCore™.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of OnCore™ patient calendars to ensure accurate tracking of financial trigger points.
  • Facilitate clinical trial billing by assisting research staff in delineating between routine care and pure research services.
  • Track payments and manage accounts receivable for an assigned caseload, addressing collection issues and aging balances.
  • Manage vendor payments by entering requisitions in MarketPlace and validating invoices.
  • Collaborate with billing and coding analysts to resolve complex patient billing discrepancies and compliance issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • One year of related experience in a healthcare or academic environment.
  • Ability to work in a fully on-site arrangement in New Brunswick, NJ.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OnCore™.
  • Experience working within a non-profit or higher education medical center.
