Graduation Intern Tunnel Beds

Responsibilities

• Conduct research into the modeling and structural design of tunnel beds
• Model tunnel beds with different segments founded on steel
• Analyze overlapping and intersecting tunnels, including long tunnels with coupled segments
• Translate model results into practical and applicable reinforcement concepts
• Develop a robust approach to speed up design processes and reduce uncertainty in early design phases
• Collaborate closely with engineers and geotechnical specialists

Requirements

• Pursuing a WO degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnics
• Near completion of studies (ready to graduate)
• Interest in tunnel construction, geotechnics, and structural modeling
• Strong analytical and structured working skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively seek collaboration
