Graduate Transfer Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the execution and monitoring of daily operational processes for inbound and outbound portfolio transfers, including stocks, ETFs, and cash.
• Review transfer requests for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with brokers and internal teams to ensure timely execution of transfers.
• Assist in investigating discrepancies and transfer-related issues throughout the lifecycle.
• Support reconciliation activities for securities settlements and cash movements.
• Monitor internal systems for potential disruptions and assist with upcoming corporate actions.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational projects under senior guidance.

Requirements

• A predicted or achieved 2:1 degree (or higher) in a STEM subject.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, basic modelling).
• Excellent communication skills for professional client and broker interactions.
• A keen interest in financial markets and trading operations.
• Full-time availability and willingness to work in an on-site office environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in financial services, investment banking, or fintech (including internships).
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R.
• Fundamental understanding of corporate actions.
• Experience with Refinitiv, Bloomberg, or other financial data providers.
