Graduate Trainee, Structuring

Responsibilities

• Design and structure bespoke exotic derivative payoffs across various asset classes including equities, commodities, credit, and digital assets.
• Collaborate with the quant team to price structured products using Monte Carlo, PDE, and analytical methods.
• Work with institutional sales to originate new trade ideas and prepare marketing materials, term sheets, and product factsheets.
• Contribute to the development, backtesting, and maintenance of Quantitative Investment Strategy (QIS) indices.
• Support post-trade lifecycle management, including barrier monitoring, coupon calculations, and client reporting.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, internal risk frameworks, and company conduct standards.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of option pricing theory (Black-Scholes, local/stochastic volatility), Greeks, and exotic payoff structures.
• Advanced programming skills in Python, specifically using NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
• Proficiency in numerical analysis, optimization, and time-series analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial service markets and relevant regulatory environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with structured products such as autocallables, capital-protected notes, or barrier options.
• Experience with SQL, C++, or VBA.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg Terminal and Git.
• Knowledge of French is a plus.
