Graduate Systems Safety Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carry out core systems safety activities on rail projects
• Develop project specific system safety documents in compliance with regulations
• Generate railway project documents including safety cases and hazard records
• Perform hazard identification using HAZIDs and HAZOPs
• Define CSM Risk Acceptance Principles to control hazards
• Provide compliance evidence for railway safety authorizations
• Verify and assess design and construction requirements for reliability and safety
• Manage system safety assurance deliverables under senior guidance

Requirements

• Degree in engineering or an appropriate discipline
• Willingness to learn new disciplines
• Strong team player
• Ability to take initiative and provide leadership
• Right to work in the Republic of Ireland
