About the role
Responsibilities
- Carry out core systems safety activities on rail projects
- Develop project specific system safety documents in compliance with regulations
- Generate railway project documents including safety cases and hazard records
- Perform hazard identification using HAZIDs and HAZOPs
- Define CSM Risk Acceptance Principles to control hazards
- Provide compliance evidence for railway safety authorizations
- Verify and assess design and construction requirements for reliability and safety
- Manage system safety assurance deliverables under senior guidance
Requirements
- Degree in engineering or an appropriate discipline
- Willingness to learn new disciplines
- Strong team player
- Ability to take initiative and provide leadership
- Right to work in the Republic of Ireland
