Responsibilities

• Assist in survey standards during offshore operations, including equipment setup, logging, QC, and data backup
• Assist the Senior Surveyor or Party Chief under supervision
• Set up and test online navigation and data logging systems
• Learn the calibration process of survey sensors
• Run daily operations of online systems under supervision
• Perform quality control of positioning systems, sensors, and logged data
• Maintain survey quality records and daily logbooks
• Perform work in accordance with company and project policies
• Participate in emergency procedures and drills

Requirements

• Post Secondary Education in Hydrographic Survey, Geomatics degree, or similar
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Document Control Systems
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
