Responsibilities
- Attend two class lectures per week
- Hold regular weekly office hours and remain available via email for student inquiries
- Assist with general course preparation and administrative tasks
- Grade all assignments in a timely manner and maintain accurate student records
- Attend regular meetings with the course instructor
- Assist in final grading and end-of-term assessments
Requirements
- Current University of Michigan graduate student in good standing
- Minimum registration of 5-6 credit hours (subject to faculty advisor approval)
- Prior coursework and/or familiarity with Judaic Studies
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior GSI experience within the College of LSA
- Enrollment in an LSA graduate program
- Relevant graduate training in a related field
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse student body
- Strong overall academic performance
