Valterra Platinum is one of the world’s leading integrated producers of platinum group metals (PGMs). We safely and responsibly mine PGMs and their associated co-products at our mines in South Africa and Zimbabwe, before smelting and refining them at our own processing facilities.
Responsibilities
- Work on challenging, high-impact projects that contribute to real mining operations
- Analyze system data and strengthen digital security protocols
- Automate routine processes and deliver intelligent insights for decision-making
- Collaborate with industry experts and cross-functional teams to tackle challenges
- Ensure all work is performed in alignment with safety standards and regulations
- Participate in diverse project rotations and continuous learning
Requirements
- Honours degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Sociology, or related fields focusing on Stakeholder engagement and Social performance
- Minimum final overall academic average of 65%
- Must have qualified within the past 24 months
- No more than 12 months post-qualification experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or interest in cybersecurity, automation, and AI application within operational contexts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
