About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day academic operations of the Master of Information (MI) and Master of Museum Studies (MMSt) programs.
- Coordinate the preparation and distribution of program and course materials.
- Provide detailed information to students and faculty regarding program eligibility, procedures, policies, and deadlines.
- Analyze service delivery and internal processes to recommend and implement improvements.
- Coordinate accreditation and program audit processes.
- Serve as a resource for job-related guidance and assist with strategic initiatives and projects.
- Maintain workflows and advise faculty members on appropriate academic guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of four years of recent experience in academic program administration within a post-secondary environment.
- Proven experience working with Program Directors regarding admissions, registration, and degree requirements.
- Solid knowledge of academic policies, including admissions, petitions, and registrarial roles.
- Proficiency in student information systems such as ROSI, Quercus, eMarks, or similar platforms.
- Advanced computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
