Graduate Power Electronics Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to laboratory safety protocols for handling high-voltage devices
• Execute specialized testing procedures and document data with accuracy and consistency
• Conduct characterization tests on power devices according to engineering specifications
• Assemble, maintain, and troubleshoot test fixtures as required
• Operate and maintain essential laboratory equipment including AC/DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, and function generators
• Oversee general laboratory upkeep to ensure a safe and compliant environment

Requirements

• BS degree with up to 2 years of experience, or an MS degree with 0 years of experience
• Fundamental knowledge of electronics theory and testing practices
• Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters
• Skilled in SMT and through-hole soldering and desoldering
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in PCB design and analysis using Altium Design
• Experience with high-voltage and current sensing
• Experience with C/C++ programming for MCU applications (PWM, UART, ADC/DAC)
• Familiarity with FPGA
