Graduate Lighting Project Designer

Responsibilities

• Support Signature Project Managers from conception through to delivery
• Review customer specifications and tailor lighting solutions to meet requirements
• Generate project proposals, including scope documents and quotations
• Carry out accurate pricing of solutions and monitor project costs
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Support the commercial sales team with technical expertise and solution insights
• Create drawings, conceptual visuals, and high-quality presentations
• Perform lighting designs and review engineering drawings
• Support site visits, commissioning, and project order processing

Requirements

• Degree in project design or industrial design
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
• Experience using CAD software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Driving license is preferred for travel to various UK locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting sales teams and customers
• Previous experience in product design or lighting design
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Photoshop
• Familiarity with Lighting Reality or DIALux
• Understanding of contracts
