Graduate Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural and civil engineering calculations and drawings
• Develop permanent works solutions for shafts, retaining walls, slabs, foundations, and reinforced concrete structures
• Coordinate with geotechnical, construction, and temporary works teams
• Support constructability reviews and value engineering exercises
• Work in accordance with BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650 standards
• Comply with CDM 2015 regulations and company HSEQ procedures
• Prepare technical specifications, design reports, and assurance documentation

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 0–2 years of experience within infrastructure, structural, or tunnelling design
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Knowledge of Eurocodes, BS standards, and UK infrastructure requirements
• Understanding of reinforced concrete and steel design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Tekla, Revit, or Robot Structural Analysis
• Working towards or holding Chartered status with ICE or IStructE
