Graduate Cyber GRC Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support control validation, audit preparation, and documentation for frameworks including ISO/IEC 27001 and ASD Essential Eight
• Leverage approved AI tools to accelerate policy drafting, control mapping, and evidence synthesis
• Maintain risk registers, track remediation efforts, and prepare compliance reports for cyber leadership
• Conduct operational and third-party risk assessments and monitor compliance against regulatory frameworks
• Evaluate vendor security postures and manage third-party risk questionnaires
• Promote a strong security culture through engaging awareness materials and user guidance
• Identify opportunities to optimize GRC workflows and contribute to team maturity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Basic understanding of risk management, data protection, and frameworks like ISO/IEC 27001 or ASD Essential Eight
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Valid Australian work rights
• Willingness to undergo comprehensive background, probity, and police checks

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level certifications such as Security+ or ISO 27001 Foundation
• Interest in how AI tools and automation can improve cyber governance
