Graduate Control Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support operation and maintenance of control systems for gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and auxiliary systems
• Provide design, implementation, troubleshooting and technical support for customer control system issues
• Assist with fault identification, problem-solving and technical investigation for industrial equipment
• Support hardware and software upgrades, modifications and on-site commissioning activities
• Participate in control logic, configuration, programming, testing and validation under senior guidance
• Contribute to TOMONI digital solutions platform activities including promotion, installation and implementation
• Support cybersecurity activities including system resilience, Windows upgrades and network improvements
• Prepare technical reports, procedures, specifications and engineering documents
• Support sales and tendering activities by providing technical information for quotations and proposals
• Travel to power station sites and support emergency issues including occasional off-hours response

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control, Systems Engineering, Automation, Software Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline
• Fluency in business English
• Strong interest in control systems, industrial automation, power generation, digital solutions and cybersecurity
• Basic knowledge of control systems, control logic and equipment interaction
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, ControlNet, Ethernet/IP or OPC
• Awareness of TCP/IP networking, industrial network environments and network cybersecurity
• Ability to read and understand technical diagrams, manuals, procedures and engineering documentation
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to technical issues
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage tasks, priorities and deadlines
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proactive, solution-focused attitude with flexibility to travel and support urgent operational issues
