Graduate Assistant Swim Coach

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-deck coaching for athletes during practices and meets
• Offer mentorship and guidance to student-athletes both in and out of the pool
• Execute administrative tasks including equipment inventory, meal ordering, and tracking practice hours
• Assist with logistics such as coordinating fundraising activities and managing underwater video equipment
• Support home meet setup and drive team vans to meets as needed
• Model positive standards of behavior, commitment, and leadership for the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Proven experience as a competitive swimmer and/or a swim coach
• Strong interpersonal, writing, and speaking skills
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

• Technological proficiency for managing team data or video equipment
• Knowledge of NCAA Compliance regulations
