Graduate Assistant - Soccer Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in planning, organizing, and executing training sessions and game preparation.
• Support the recruitment of highly skilled and academically qualified student-athletes through travel and consistent communication.
• Serve as a teacher, leader, and role model for all members of the women's soccer team.
• Assist with film breakdown, individual film sessions, and the management of team social media accounts.
• Monitor the academic progress of team members and provide necessary feedback.
• Coordinate official and unofficial visits for prospective student-athletes and their families.
• Participate in team fundraising initiatives, ID clinics, summer camps, and community service.
• Manage team meals during travel and coordinate with athletic training and strength staff regarding student-athlete well-being.
• Ensure compliance with all Cedar Crest College and NCAA Division III policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Must obtain acceptance into a Cedar Crest College graduate program and maintain academic eligibility.
• Valid US driver's license and ability to earn 12-passenger van certification.
• Ability to work an untraditional schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to travel independently and transport teams and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous college playing experience.
