About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the production and broadcasting of live athletic events on ESPN+ and conference digital platforms
  • Operate broadcast equipment including cameras, switchers, audio boards, replay systems, and graphics software
  • Support game productions by managing camera placement, audio quality, graphics integration, and replay usage
  • Ensure correct integration of score bugs, lower thirds, sponsorship elements, and required ESPN+ graphics packages
  • Monitor broadcast quality in real time and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain professional standards
  • Schedule, train, and supervise student broadcast crews
  • Assist with the setup, breakdown, maintenance, and inventory of production and webcasting equipment
  • Collaborate with athletics communications, marketing, and operations staff to support branding and fan engagement

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
  • Confirmed acceptance into the Bryant University Graduate School
  • Ability to work significant hours on nights, weekends, and select holidays based on competition schedules
  • Knowledge of video production equipment and software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with live event production and broadcasting, preferably in an NCAA Division I or ESPN+ environment
  • Familiarity with ESPN+ broadcast standards, workflows, and production expectations
  • Experience training and supervising student production crews
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to remain composed in live-event environments
