Graduate Assistant, Office of Community Engagement and Experiential Learning

Responsibilities

• Support program implementation and student leadership initiatives within the Office of Community Engagement and Experiential Learning (CEEL).
• Collaborate with the CEEL team to support student leaders in the Community Engaged Learning Facilitators (CELF) Program and student employees in the Lewis University Community Schools Consortium (LUCSC).
• Plan and implement monthly social and reflective gatherings for student leaders.
• Produce promotional materials such as annual reports, flyers, and brochures in collaboration with CEEL staff.
• Maintain the digital presence for CEEL, including websites, social media engagement, and newsletters.
• Foster relationships with community partners and represent CEEL at campus and community meetings, orientation events, and visit days.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must be currently enrolled and maintaining satisfactory progress in a Lewis University graduate program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Experience utilizing design software such as Adobe InDesign, Canva, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with social media platforms.
• Strong organizational, time management, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and a commitment to creating an inclusive community.

Benefits

• Base pay of $7,000.
• 75% tuition waiver.
