About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the university's efforts to foster an inclusive and equitable campus environment through programming, advocacy, and administrative support.
- Engage students from diverse backgrounds and support various affinity groups.
- Implement initiatives that promote equity, belonging, and social justice on campus.
- Work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff to create a welcoming campus environment.
- Participate in the Student Affairs On-Call system to respond to campus concerns, emergencies, and policy violations.
- Assist with marketing, social media, and digital outreach for Multicultural Student Services.
Requirements
- Must be accepted into a Franklin Pierce University graduate program (acceptance must be confirmed before consideration).
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.
- Strong commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and event-planning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in student leadership, diversity programs, or related initiatives.
- Experience with marketing, social media, and digital outreach.
- Familiarity with event-planning software.
