Graduate Assistant - Multicultural Student Services

Responsibilities

• Support the university's efforts to foster an inclusive and equitable campus environment through programming, advocacy, and administrative support.
• Engage students from diverse backgrounds and support various affinity groups.
• Implement initiatives that promote equity, belonging, and social justice on campus.
• Work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff to create a welcoming campus environment.
• Participate in the Student Affairs On-Call system to respond to campus concerns, emergencies, and policy violations.
• Assist with marketing, social media, and digital outreach for Multicultural Student Services.

Requirements

• Must be accepted into a Franklin Pierce University graduate program (acceptance must be confirmed before consideration).
• Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and event-planning skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse populations.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in student leadership, diversity programs, or related initiatives.
• Experience with marketing, social media, and digital outreach.
• Familiarity with event-planning software.
