Graduate Assistant Coach – Women’s Rowing

Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution, Acceptance into Bryant University Graduate School, Availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekends, Ability to travel for competitions
About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach with on-water and land-based instruction and student-athlete development
- Support the planning and execution of training sessions, including technical rowing instruction, erg workouts, and strength and conditioning
- Assist with regatta coaching, including pre-race preparation, race day operations, and post-competition activities
- Support recruiting efforts by identifying prospective student-athletes and managing communications in accordance with NCAA rules
- Assist with video analysis, technical feedback, scouting, and opponent research
- Support team operations including travel coordination, equipment and boat care, and practice scheduling
- Assist with academic monitoring and student-athlete support initiatives
- Maintain compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional policies
- Perform administrative duties such as record keeping, documentation, and meeting coordination
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
- Confirmed acceptance into the Bryant University Graduate School
- Availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to travel for competitions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a collegiate student-athlete or coaching experience at the collegiate, club, or high school level
- Knowledge of rowing techniques, training methodology, and race strategies
- Interest in pursuing a career in collegiate coaching or athletics administration
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
