Graduate Assistant Coach for Men's Volleyball

Responsibilities

• Work in conjunction with the Head Coach to manage all aspects of the men's volleyball program
• Recruit qualified student-athletes and coordinate on-campus recruiting visits
• Assist with practice and game preparation, including individual player development
• Monitor and mentor student-athletes to support academic success and retention
• Assist with fundraising, community service activities, and alumni relations
• Serve as a travel coordinator for team trips, managing transportation and meals
• Maintain compliance with all University, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations
• Assist with game operations, facility maintenance, and event staffing

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Collegiate or professional playing experience
• Previous recruiting and coaching experience
• Sport-specific knowledge and ability to demonstrate drills
• Valid Driver's License
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel for competitions and recruiting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and manage training equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic video knowledge for game and practice analysis
• Experience managing or monitoring team social media accounts

Benefits

• $5,000 annual stipend paid over 10 months
