Graduate Assistant Coach for Men's Ice Hockey

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Coach in all aspects of the Men's Ice Hockey program operations
• Recruit qualified student-athletes and coordinate on-campus recruiting visits
• Assist with practice and game preparation, including individual player development
• Monitor and mentor student-athletes to support academic success and retention
• Assist with fundraising, community service activities, and alumni relations
• Coordinate team travel, including transportation, departure times, and meals
• Maintain compliance with all University, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations
• Assist with facility maintenance and the setup of sport-specific training aids

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Collegiate or professional playing experience
• Previous recruiting and coaching experience
• Sport-specific knowledge and ability to demonstrate drills
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic video knowledge
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience managing social media accounts
