Graduate Assistant - Assistant Coach - Men's Hockey

Responsibilities

• Conduct on and off-campus recruiting of qualified student-athletes
• Provide primary on-ice coaching focus for the team's defensemen and goaltenders
• Assist with practice planning and implementation
• Support fundraising activities and team social media/video programs
• Monitor student-athlete academics and study halls
• Assist with team travel, game day operations, scheduling, and general office work
• Adhere to all NCAA rules and regulations
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by the head coach

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• Confirmed acceptance into a graduate studies program at Franklin Pierce University
• Previous coaching experience and/or successful NCAA or Junior playing experience
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to attract, recruit, and retain high-level players
