Graduate Apprentice Trainee

Responsibilities

• Participate in a year-long NATS apprenticeship program to gain practical training in CFD and automotive technology
• Solve complex flow problems using computational fluid dynamics
• Interpret simulation results and apply them to product design ideas
• Prepare detailed simulation reports and technical presentations
• Support the Trucks Technology & Industrial division in developing sustainable transport solutions

Requirements

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (Fresh Graduate)
• Strong fundamental knowledge in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
• Proficiency in simulation tools such as Star CCM+ and ANSA
• Understanding of product design and the ability to interpret simulation data
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of IC engines or After Treatment systems
• Familiarity with statistical techniques and DOE generation techniques
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• A proactive attitude and a continuous drive for self-improvement
