Graduate Apprentice Trainee

Responsibilities

• Engage in concept creation following QDCF prerequisites, including conceptual thinking and multi-material assemblies.
• Consider stakeholder requirements during the design and development process.
• Apply knowledge of plastic and sheet metal manufacturing processes, including injection molding, blow molding, and vacuum forming.
• Work with press tools, blanking, forming, and secondary operations for plastic and sheet metal parts.
• Utilize proto manufacturing methods and design considerations for various components.
• Perform part modeling, surfacing, assembly, and detailed drawing/detailing if required.

Requirements

• B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Graduation year must be 2023, 2024, or 2025/26.
• Strong understanding of engineering basics.
• Knowledge of plastic and sheet metal manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Eligibility for the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD tools such as CATIA V5 or Creo.
• Knowledge of GD&T applications and draft analysis.
• Understanding of FEM, tooling, and manufacturing.
• Familiarity with basic automation technologies like AI/ML.
