Graduate Apprentice Trainee

Responsibilities

• Support the Health & Safety team in implementing workplace safety programs and monitoring compliance.
• Conduct daily workplace safety inspections to identify unsafe acts, conditions, and near-miss incidents.
• Assist in risk assessment activities, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
• Organize safety training, induction programs, and awareness campaigns for employees and contractors.
• Participate in incident investigations, collect evidence, and assist in preparing preliminary reports.
• Support emergency preparedness by participating in mock drills and inspecting emergency equipment.
• Maintain statutory compliance records related to the Factories Act and other safety regulations.
• Assist in safety committee meetings by recording minutes and following up on action items.
• Support the digitalization of regular day-to-day safety activities.

Requirements

• Participation in a one-year practical, hands-on On-the-Job-Training (OJT) program.
• Ability to support safety inspections and assist in risk assessments.
• Capacity to organize safety training and participate in incident investigations.
• Support for emergency preparedness and maintenance of statutory compliance records.
• Interest in industrial safety management systems and regulatory compliance.
