Graduate Admissions Counselor

Responsibilities

• Drive enrollment growth through prospective student engagement, strategic recruitment, and outreach for graduate programs.
• Represent Mercy University at graduate school fairs, professional conferences, career events, and community-based organizations.
• Conduct in-person and virtual presentations regarding graduate program offerings, admissions processes, and scholarship opportunities.
• Manage the admissions pipeline by communicating with prospective students via phone, email, text, and video.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress within the CRM (Slate).
• Collaborate with program directors, faculty, and marketing teams to support recruitment events and targeted campaigns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel locally and regionally, including some evenings and weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in admissions, higher education, recruitment, or a related field.
• Experience using CRM systems such as Slate or Banner.
