About the role

Responsibilities

  • Shepherd prospective students from initial inquiry through matriculation and orientation for graduate programs in Science, Communication, Education, and the Humanities.
  • Serve as the primary recruitment lead and event coordinator for College of Arts and Sciences graduate programs.
  • Coordinate and execute targeted admission events, including Open Houses and Admitted Student Receptions.
  • Attend recruitment fairs, graduate school showcases, and corporate visits to build the prospect pipeline.
  • Streamline student visits by managing scheduling for rooms, faculty, and campus tours.
  • Collaborate with faculty to develop new admissions pipelines and expand student diversity.
  • Manage data entry and categorization of applications and academic transcripts within the CRM system.
  • Draft and edit content for graduate enrollment communication flows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant academic or professional field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with students in a higher education setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize workflow and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to provide high-level customer service to faculty, staff, and students.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, higher education, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in admissions, enrollment, or school counseling.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the value of a graduate degree.
