About the role
Responsibilities
- Shepherd prospective students from initial inquiry through matriculation and orientation for graduate programs in Science, Communication, Education, and the Humanities.
- Serve as the primary recruitment lead and event coordinator for College of Arts and Sciences graduate programs.
- Coordinate and execute targeted admission events, including Open Houses and Admitted Student Receptions.
- Attend recruitment fairs, graduate school showcases, and corporate visits to build the prospect pipeline.
- Streamline student visits by managing scheduling for rooms, faculty, and campus tours.
- Collaborate with faculty to develop new admissions pipelines and expand student diversity.
- Manage data entry and categorization of applications and academic transcripts within the CRM system.
- Draft and edit content for graduate enrollment communication flows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant academic or professional field.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with students in a higher education setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize workflow and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to provide high-level customer service to faculty, staff, and students.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, higher education, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in admissions, enrollment, or school counseling.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate the value of a graduate degree.
