Graduate Administrator

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration of the Graduate program and lead departmental seminars or workshops
• Advise graduate students on academic and financial matters, considering individual backgrounds and circumstances
• Manage the admissions process, including reviewing applications and determining logistical requirements
• Coordinate scholarships and fellowships in alignment with School of Graduate Studies (SGS) policies
• Analyze statistical information to inform enrollment projections and planning
• Review and recommend changes to program requirements and award funding allocations
• Produce promotional and outreach materials for the department

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of experience
• Minimum of four years of experience in graduate student counseling and graduate program administration
• Proven experience coordinating scholarships, fellowships, and admissions assessments
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Strong working knowledge of student database systems such as Slate, ROSI, or ACORN
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
